The swiss made software team
In 2022, the swiss made software label again grew strongly. More than 120 companies joined us. With over 1100 member companies, our label is now the largest network of Swiss ICT companies. Currently, there are also over 800 products and services on our platform that have been awarded the "swiss made software", "swiss hosting" or the new "swiss digital services" label.
With the introduction of the new "swiss digital services" label, we can now represent the entire spectrum of ICT activity in Switzerland. This is crucial, because in addition to traditional services, a lot of custom software is developed in Switzerland. It also allows us to do justice to the increasingly strong SaaS and platform business. Here, there is often the option of seeing the core of the business as either a product or a service, or even both.
We came into contact with this need in numerous discussions with customers. swiss made software therefore responded to concrete demands from the market with the new label.
Swiss ICT companies can apply for the "swiss digital services" label if the Swiss value share of their service delivery cost is at least 60%.

Building on the new swiss hosting label, we successfully launched the "dataspace switzerland" event series. Especially in times of Corona, supply chain bottlenecks, deglobalization and increasing conflicts, we wanted to draw the bow to the topic of digital sovereignty: So happened on 22.06. and 25.11. with the theme evenings "How secure is our data" as well as "On to the new data protection law".

The Office of Economy and Labour (AWA) in Basel wants to show that the Rhine region is not a empty spot on the map when it comes to ICT and has launched a new initiative under the BaselTech label. As part of this initiative, swiss made software launched the "It's about Tech" event series last year. The aim is to create a platform for the exchange of knowledge among technology enthusiasts. In addition to the Basel location promotion, "It' about Tech" is supported by cyon and ti&m as main sponsors, Magnolia as Special Partner and the Supporting Partners brix IT Solutions and CSEM.
