We all know the Digital Industry’s capability of producing ‹hype or reality?›-stories. And without a doubt: Quantum Computing is the new kid on the block. But unlike in other fields where the hypes usually spill over from overseas, this time Switzerland and especially Basel has put itself on the map. Thanks to a strong private investment QuantumBasel is building one of the first commercially available quantum computers worldwide right here in Münchenstein. And paired with the long standing expertise at University of Basel and other institutions in the country we are witnessing the seeding of a strong quantum ecosystem in Switzerland — with Basel as its gravitational center.
Just a hype? Find out at our next event of the series IT’s ABOUT TECH. Not to be missed on December 2, at Campus Klybeck in Basel, starting from 17.30.
Hear from experts, evangelists and enthusiasts why they believe the quantum wave will be coming faster than you think. Learn about where the technological development stands. Discuss to how quantum computing will change the tech industry in the near future.
Looking forward to a great evening.
