The "swiss made software" label stands for Swiss values in software development. Launched in 2007, the label now has more than 200 members, which mark their products with "swiss made software".

There are two conditions that must be met before a product may be labeled "Swiss Made":

1. The Swiss share in the production value must be at least 60 percent.
2. The key production process must have taken place in Switzerland.

An important milestone was achieved in April 2009. Since then, cooperation has existed with SGS, which allows expanding the "swiss made software" label with ISO-25001 certifications. Thanks to the certification, "swiss made software" becomes a hard factor that tops off a company's image as a brand.

Currently there are three levels:

1. The free use of the logo, taking into account the above conditions.
2. In addition to using the logo, you have the option of being listed on the SwissMadeSoftware.org website as a Swiss software firm for an annual service charge.
3. Certification in accordance with ISO 25001 by SGS.
